I very much value my association with the Virginia Land Title Association.  This website has no official or unofficial affiliation with that fine organization.  Any and all errors, substantive and typographical, are entirely the fault of the webmaster.

I very much value my association with my regular employer.   This website has no official or unofficial affiliation with that fine organization.  Any and all errors, substantive and typographical, are entirely the fault of the webmaster.

I even like my webmaster, but he's only worth what I'm paying him, which is why I blame him for everything.  Seriously, this is my work, and if it is wrong, tell me.  I'll fix it.  To paraphrase "Pogo," we have met the webmaster, and he is us.

This is not a legal advice website.  There is no attorney client privilege unless and until a) we meet in person; b) you sign a retainer agreement specifying what it is I am supposed to be doing, and how much you are going to pay me for those services, and c) I pass the bar exam.  There are two sides to every dispute.  That is what makes a horse race.  Your mileage may vary.  If you have a problem which requires the application of legal principles to specific facts, please call a lawyer, your lawyer, any lawyer.  This isn't the place.  The resemblance of any character or fact pattern on this website to a person or fact pattern actually appearing in your life is purely coincidental.  And, as the lawyers will tell you, there is always some little twist of fact which means everything you think you know is wrong.  Go talk to him/her/them.
